Focus on Behavior staff attended the Annual Conference of the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis in October 2015.

In addition to having the opportunity for professional development and continuing education from leaders in the field, representatives of Focus on Behavior were able to present some of our recent work.  Kari Woznick and Jenna Lewis presented the results of an intervention they designed and implemented in the clinic which used a behavioral treatment to help a child reduce his stool-holding behavior. This talk, presented with Dr. Megan Miller of CARD, was titled Beyond the Basics: Extensions on Toilet Training.

Kari also presented, along with Dr. Baker Wright of BMC, “Building Collaborative Partnerships Between the Outside Behavior Analyst and School Personnel.”  Both presentations were well-received by those in attendance.
