Autism affects children across all racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups. Autism spectrum disorders are almost five times more common in boys and it is one of the fastest-growing developmental disorders in the united states. Research indicates children who start therapy at a young age attain better outcomes.
There is currently no cure for autism, however Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has been proven effective through decades of research. It is widely recognized as a safe and effective treatment for autism, even being endorsed by the U.S. Surgeon General and many state and federal agencies.
